CEEC injects K20m to support 300 fish projects

THE Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) has injected over K20 million to support 300 projects under the fish value chain in eight provinces.

CEEC also notes that this is despite the low supply of quality fingerlings affecting the successful implementation of the project.

CEEC director general Likando Mukumbuta said the commission has disbursed a total of K20.1 million to 300 fish farmers on the Copperbelt, Mpulungu, Nchelenge, Rufunsa, Chitambo and Kalulushi.
Other areas include Mwansabombwe, Chavuma, Siavonga and Mwandi.
