Car wash customer care leaves much to be desired

Dear editor,
HAS anybody wondered why foreigners are doing better business-wise?
It is because they pay a lot of attention to every customer that walks on their premises.
They do not care whether the customer is walking in, driving in or what type of vehicle or clothes one is wearing.
Contrast this to a Zambian business premise, especially a car wash.
Some car wash employees are full of themselves, especially in Kabulonga and Salama Park. They lack customer care. They are choosy and decide who should be attended to and who should be pampered.
Some vehicles will be in the washing bay for hours without being attended to while others are promptly attended to.
It is the reason they are losing customers without them noticing.
Unless they pull up their socks and start giving equal attention to all motorists, they risk losing more customers.
