Cameras bring drivers to speed

SOKO

NANCY SIAME, Lusaka
ABROGATIONS of road traffic regulations have reduced from 90 to five percent since the installation of surveillance cameras.
Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) chief executive officer Zindaba Soko said the agency hopes to install the road cameras in other parts of the country to increase road compliance.
“People have started complying with speed zones, and so far, we are happy with the compliance levels,” Mr Soko said.
He said this yesterday during the launch of the national festive season enforcement campaign themed ‘Do not die in a manner that can be prevented’.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
