Buy fuel from certified dealers, advises ERB

HENRY SINYANGWE, Kasama
THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) wants more investors to establish filling stations to prevent illegal fuel dealing and adulteration of the product.
ERB spokesperson Kwali Mfuni said ERB is losing a lot of money as some of the fuel that is meant for export to other countries is being sold in Zambia during transition.
Ms Mfuni said the board is making efforts in ensuring that it handles fuel adulteration.
“[There is need to] ensure the creation of more filling stations, especially in the rural parts of the country,” she said in an interview during the Northern Province Expo last week.
Ms Mfuni said the expo presents an opportunity for various investors to venture in the fuel service stations industries as they are few in the province http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
