THE Kitwe Magistrate’s Court has sentenced a 43-year-old businessman who shot his employee in Chimwemwe township to nine months imprisonment.
Magistrate Malota Phiri has however suspended the sentence for 12 months on condition that Gaoen Ming does not commit a similar offence during the same period.
Ming was jailed yesterday for failing to take precaution against injury or damage.
Magistrate Phiri also ordered Ming to pay K4,500, failure to which he would be sent to jail for six months.
