Business with Africa’s most populous nation

IN 2014, Nigeria overtook South Africa as Africa’s largest economy after the Nigeria Bureau of Statistics reported its gross domestic product to be US$509.9 billion.
Nigeria, which is Africa’s most populous country with about 170 million people, has in recent years been growing as an investment destination mainly because of the huge size of its consumer market and growing capital markets.
Both former British colonies, Nigeria and Zambia established diplomatic relations on September 15, 1972.
