Boy rescued from toilet

BUTTYSON KANDIMBA, Solwezi
POLICE in Meheba, Solwezi, on Sunday last week rescued an 11-year-old boy who fell into a pit latrine

on Saturday.
And police in Mwinilunga have mounted a manhunt for a man who allegedly bludgeoned an 89-year-old woman to death with a piece of bamboo.
In the Solwezi incident, North-Western Province commissioner of police Auxensio Daka said the boy, who is a Grade Four pupil at Meheba D Primary School, went missing around 17:00 hours.
“A search was conducted for him all night and he was discovered on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 07:00 hours in a pit latrine when they heard him shouting and he was rescued by breaking down the toilet,” he said.
And police in Mwinilunga have mounted a manhunt for a man who allegedly killed a woman.
Mr Daka said in an interview yesterday that the killing happened in Chimvula village in Chief Chibwika’s area on Tuesday around 17:00 hours.
