Bosses turn poachers

CATHERINE MUMBA, Choma
A CARTEL of senior civil servants, civic leaders and Department of National Parks and Wildlife officers is allegedly poaching up 15 to 20 highly-prized lechwe per day in the Kafue Flats.
The lechwe is a rare wildlife species which is only found in the Kafue Flats the world over.
Because of continued poaching, the lechwe population has reduced to about 12,000 this year from 28,000 in 2017. http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
