THE Pro-comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) Zambia consortium has welcomed guidance provided by Vice-President Inonge Wina that Government will initiate wide consultation with key stakeholders to inform the review of the framework.
Pro-CSE, which comprises civil society organisations (CSOs) and teacher unions, said this will give key stakeholders an opportunity to reflect and respond to the current mode of CSE in the country.
The consortium said the consultative process will also enable key stakeholders to identify contentious issues, if any, in the current CSE curriculum that may need to be addressed.
