Blades, Nkana encounter ends in draw

CHEWE Mulenga’s hopes for a winning start as Konkola Blades interim coach yesterday ended in a draw after the hosts gave up the lead against Nkana in a Super League rescheduled Week 11 match played in the border town.
Mulenga was appointed on Monday after the club dismissed Levy Chabala.
Nkana remained on 11th position with 16 points, 12 behind leaders Green Buffaloes, while fourth from bottom Blades have 12 points.
Nkana had a good sight on goal in the 12th minute through Bob Chansa, who failed to beat the offside trap after being set up by Obed Masumbuko.
