WITH artistes like Maiko Zulu, Petersen Zagaze and Saboi Imboela having all previously contested for public office, it would come as no surprise if dancehall/hip-hop artiste and social activist B’flow did so.
However, the award-winning artiste has refuted social media reports that he wants to contest the Kabwe Central parliamentary seat in his home town as an Independent.
A campaign poster has been circulating on social media suggesting that B’Flow, whose real name is Brian Bwembya, will contest the Kabwe Central seat in 2021.
The poster, which bears B’Flow’s portrait, is captioned “Vote Brian Bwembya 2021, the Youth’s Choice”. It also says “Wako ni Wako (Your Own is Your Own), Vote Youth, Vote Power, Change begins with Youths”.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
