MULWANDA LUPIYA, Ndola
THE Bembas on Friday put their act together beating the Ngonis to reclaim the annual traditional golf tournament at Ndola Golf Club.

The Northerners managed 605 points, 98 better than the Ngonis.
The Kangwa Mukwilile-led Bemba’s blasted into celebrations after the victory.
Mukwilile said the tournament was tough as the Ngonis put up a brave performance.
“It was tough but the Ngonis must admit that this tribe is better than them,” he said.
Charles Mwanza, a Ngoni representative, congratulated the Bembas for the victory.
Mwanza jokingly said at next year’s event participants should produce National Registration Cards to verify their tribe because it’s like everyone who speaks Bemba is regarded as a Bemba.
Meanwhile, National Sports Council of Zambia board vice chairperson Emmanuel
Katebe said the annual event is an important championship on the golf calendar.
