Beginning of new era

IN A bid to improve players’ welfare off the pitch, the Footballers and Allied Workers Union of Zambia (FAWUZ) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Mukuba Pension Trust for a compulsory player pension fund.
And FAWUZ is in the process of creating hardship funds under the unemployment benefit programme for retired players above 70 years old.
