‘Be grateful for high-profile visits’

CATHERINE MUMBA and STEVEN MVULA, Parliament
VICE-PRESIDENT Inonge Wina told Parliament yesterday that visits by foreign heads of State enhance Zambia’s tourism profile and so instead of criticising them, Zambians should be thankful.

She was responding to Roan member of Parliament (MP) Chishimba Kambwili (PF), who alleged that King Mswati III of Swaziland did not come on a private visit as announced by Government but for a business deal.
But Mrs Wina said: “When a king of another country visits Zambia, that is the highest tourism we can get as a country and we should be grateful instead of castigating him for why he was here.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
