Avoid hate speech, Zambians urged

THE Zambia Centre for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) interparty monitoring team says stereotyping based on ethnicity should urgently be stopped because it has potential to plunge the country into chaos.
Team representative Angelica Rumsey said yesterday at a media briefing in Lusaka that the August 11 general elections have also exposed unprecedented levels of regional voting.
Mrs Rumsey said the monitoring team observed with sadness the unfriendly campaign messages that were used by some political party stewards during the run-up to the general elections.READ MORE
