LEGENDARY singer Maureen Lupo Lilanda last Friday led afro soul singer Wezi, gospel artiste Esther Chungu, folk musician Theresa Ng’ambi and rapper Bomb$hell in a special all-women performance at the Government Complex in Lusaka which coincided with the International Women’s Day.
Dubbed Arts Beating As One, the concert that started at about 19:00 hours dedicated its proceeds to Arts Beat Centre, a non-governmental organisation that supports vulnerable children through art.
With just a small audience in attendance, the concert was opened by a group of girls from Arts Beats Centre who performed a cultural song accompanied by artistic traditional instruments.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
