Attacked chief to get security

VICE-PRESIDENT Inonge Wina has assured Senior Chief Mweemba of the Tonga people in Southern Province that Government will immediately provide him with security to protect him and his family.

This was after the traditional leader and his wife made an appeal and a number of requests to Mrs Wina, who visited him at Livingstone Central Hospital, where he is recuperating.

Senior Chief Mweemba and three other people sustained severe injuries with one person dying on the way to the hospital after a house they were sleeping in was petrol-bombed by unknown people in Kanyemba Village in Sinazongwe.
