Army warns of fake messages

DOREEN NAWA, Lusaka
THE Zambia Army has cautioned the public against falling prey to people sending text messages soliciting for money to be included on the list of successful candidates from the last recruitment exercise.
In a statement yesterday, army spokesperson Colonel Chris Musonda said successful candidates will be published in the print media at the right time without any payment.
Col Musonda has since advised the public to report anyone circulating the false messages to the police or any military establishment.
The army conducted recruitment interviews last year but has not yet published the list of successful candidates.
