WORKERS at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH) yesterday erupted into ecstasy and sang praises to God after witnessing the successful separation of eight-month-old twins who were joined at the belly.

Prior to the over five-hour historic operation, the nation was gripped with anxiety as a team of 30 medical experts were separating the girls who were sharing a liver.
