THESE are hard times to be a Zambian football fan even if the worrying signs have been evident in recent times.Even before the Under-20 defeat against Burundi could be properly digested, their junior counterparts, the Under-17, have been booted out of the on-going Council of Southern African Football Associations (COSAFA) championship in Mauritius.
Like the U-20, who were defending the Africa Cup title, the U-17 went to Mauritius for the regional tournament as defending champions, Yet their defence was so limp that they failed to even be among the best losers in order for them to sneak into the semi-finals.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
