Anglican Diocese in court for not paying Caesar

THE National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) has dragged the Anglican Diocese of Lusaka to court demanding over K300,000 penalty arrears resulting from late remittance of monthly statutory returns for its employees.
In a statement of claim filed before the Lusaka High Court, NAPSA states that at all material times, Anglican Diocese of Lusaka is registered under the Societies Act.
The claim states that Anglican Diocese of Lusaka is a contributing employer registered with NAPSA under the National Pension Scheme Act.
By law, NAPSA is mandated to collect monthly statutory contributions from contributing employers at the end of the month.
