All parties equal in dialogue – ZCID

NAKACINDA

NANCY SIAME and CAROLINE KALOMBE, Lusaka
THE Zambia Centre for Inter-party Dialogue (ZCID) has urged the Church not to meet political parties individually because no party is more special than others.
And the United Party for National Development (UPND) says it will stick to the Church-led dialogue process, and that this is why the party has not selected a representative to sit on the panel for the ZCID-led talks.
ZCID board member Raphael Nakacinda said neither the governing Patriotic Front (PF) nor the UPND are more special than other parties and so they too must meet under the umbrella of ZCID.
“The Church must not divide politicians by wanting to lead a separate dialogue process,” he said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
