Aid agency calls for close inclusion gap for farmers

NOMSA NKANA, Lusaka
A GLOBAL humanitarian aid agency says increasing integration of small-holder farmers into better organised value chains will boost delivery channels and close the inclusion gap for farmers lacking access to basic financial products and services.

Mercy Corps programme director Leesa Shrader said in a statement that new technologies and advances in mobile banking can help close the inclusion gap for small-holder farmers.
