Agriculture offers immense avenues for diversification – PwC

PRICEWATERHOUSE Coopers’ (PwC) senior partner Andrew Chibuye has urged financial institutions to consider developing appropriate lending schemes for the agriculture sector as a real alternative to copper mining.
PwC is working with a number of key players in the agriculture sector by providing assurance, advisory and tax services.
Mr Chibuye said the Zambian agri-market is important for the country’s economic growth and that suitable financial packages for the players in the sector are cardinal.
