ZAMBIA is among eight African countries where the African Development Bank (AfDB) has launched a pilot programme to cultivate savannah trees for income generation and to boost the agriculture sector.
The tree project will be done under the cultivation of maize, soya beans and livestock production in optimum conditions in the selected countries.
The countries include Ghana, Guinea, Democratic Republic of Congo, Central African Republic, Uganda, Kenya, and Mozambique.
