Abandoned to fend for herself at 85

ASTRIDAH Mwamba, 85, is still able to do things people at her age are not able to do.
But she has no choice because her relatives abandoned her about five years ago on suspicion that she is a witch.
Ms Mwamba, who cannot walk and only crawls, depends on the grace of God for survival.
Every morning, Ms Mwamba wakes up to draw water from a communal tap near her house.
Because she crawls, Ms Mwamba only manages to fetch water in a 2.5-litre container, and carries it with one hand while crawling.
The water is not enough. As a result she is forced to make three or four trips.
