GOVERNMENT will continue rewarding athletes that excel in various categories as a way of motivating them.
And Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts Elvis Nkandu called for patience from athletes that minted medals at the 2023 Ghana African Games, saying they will be paid their dues soon.
Speaking when he officiated at the 2023 National Sports Awards at Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka on Tuesday night, Nkandu said it is important to recognise athletes’ achievements.
