Quash Lungu’s response

MICHELO Chizombe has urged the Constitutional Court to strike out or quash former President Edgar Lungu’s answer to the petition challenging the former head of State’s eligibility to contest elections.
Mr Chizombe, the petitioner, wants Mr Lungu’s answer to the petition set aside because “it does not respond to the petition” and it should, therefore, be expunged from the proceedings.
“There is no answer by the first respondent [Mr Lungu] that joins issue with the petition. The
purported answer by the first respondent does not comply with order 4, rule 4 of the
Constitutional Court rules and must be set aside,” the petitioner has submitted through his lawyer Michael Moono..
