6 health workers found with case to answer

THE Ndola Magistrate’s Court has found six Ministry of Health workers with a case to answer in the matter they are accused of stealing medical apparatus and drugs worth over K56,000.
Before magistrate Bubal a Sikalunda were Drobert Hantenda, an administrative and human resource manager, Dennis Katebe, a district accounting officer, and accountant Ignatius Chikoti.
The rest were assistant accountant Kennedy Masele, records clerk Joel Pule, and Damus Ng’onga, a stores officer.
They were found with a case to answer in 41 counts of alleged theft and fraudulent accounting involving K56, 290.15.
