MINISTER of Defence Richwell Siamunene has urged 530 Zambian troops deployed to the Central African Republic (CAR) on a United Nations (UN) peace-keeping mission to carry out their mandate impartially and professionally.
Mr Siamunene advised the soldiers to be morally upright while serving in the CAR and be mindful of the families they have left behind.
“I will be failing in my duties if I don’t remind you of the need to be morally upright. The HIV/AIDS pandemic respects no profession hence you should be mindful of the responsibilities that fall on your shoulders,” he said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
