30,000 farmers listed on digital register

THE Technical Centre for Agriculture and Rural Cooperation (CTA) has listed over 30,000 small-scale farmers on the digital register in Central, Southern and Eastern provinces under the Scaling up Smart Agriculture programme.
The project focuses on scaling up four climate smart agriculture practices to increase food security, nutrition and income for about 140,000 small-scale farmers in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
It provides access to information and knowledge, facilitates policy dialogue and strengthens the capacity of agricultural and rural development institutions and communities.
