3 pupils nabbed over beating of guard

CHOMBA MUSIKA, Choma
A 23-YEAR-OLD security guard at Zimba High School is battling for his life in the Livingstone General Hospital after he was allegedly severely beaten by three grade 12 pupils of the same school.
Southern Province commissioner of police Mary Chikwanda named the victim as Emmanuel Kabuku of Zimba’s Simwami area.
Ms Chikwanda said Mr Kabuku sustained a deep head wound after allegedly being beaten by the pupils, who have since been arrested for the assault.
The incident happened around 01:00 hours on Friday in Simwami and she named the suspects as Felix Mundia, Simba Moono and Rainford Mweene.
