A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy has been crushed to death after a wall of a house fell on him, and in another incident two others aged four and six years drowned in Lundazi.
Charles Nkhoma, aged three, died on the spot after a wall of a house collapsed on him in Lundazi.
The boy of Chikalamu village in Chief Kazembe’s chiefdom met his fate when he was passing near a house whose wall suddenly collapsed on him crushing him to death.
Eastern Province commissioner of police Alex Chilufya said yesterday in Chipata that the child died on Monday around 16:00 hours.
“The boy aged three years and six months old died instantly when the wall of a house collapsed on him as he was passing close to the house in Dunda Two township in Lundazi,” Mr Chilufya said.
In the other incident, Promise Banda, 6, and Hard Zimba, 4, who are cousins of Wadilika village in Lundazi, drowned while trying to cross Mphande River.
