OVER 2,900 nurses have so far applied for the 3,000 jobs for paramedics offered by Government to beef up the fight against coronavirus.
Ministry of Health spokesperson Abel Kabalo said in an interview yesterday that the response has been overwhelming and the ministry has continued to receive applications.
Dr Kabalo said all the 2,900 nurses are ready for recruitment.
