TWO women who had differed over alcohol have been reconciled by Matero Local Court and reminded that beer will never finish.
Jessica Michelo, 30, a business woman and Lombe Mashaba, 29, were told to keep their friendship because there was no need for them to fight over beer.
Michelo had sued Mashaba for defamation of character.
“I don’t see any reason why you two should fight over a bottle of black label. You will drink the beer and it will never finish, so why fight.
Let beer not separate you. I will not break your friendship but I will instead reconcile you because I have seen that you are good friends,” Magistrate Harriet Mulenga said.
In her statement, Michelo told the court that on February 20 this year she went to a bar, with her lover where she found her friend and others drinking Black Label.
Michelo said when she arrived at the bar she had a bottle of Castle Lite in her hand. CLICK
