2 plead not guilty to trespassing

KALUNGA MUSONDA, Kabwe
TWO men of Chibombo charged with trespassing on burial grounds with intent to commit an offence and to annoy have appeared in the Kabwe Magistrate’s Court.
This is in a case in which Kebby Kapesula, 20, and Martin Kasenga, 35, are charged with unlawfully entering Chitanda burial site with intent to commit an offence and to annoy.
Kapesula and Kasenga appeared for plea before magistrate Chimuka Mutafela on Monday.
They denied the charge.
It is alleged that Kapesula and Kasenga, on November 13 this year in Chibombo, jointly and whilst acting together, unlawfully entered Chitanda burial site with intent to commit an offence and to annoy.
When asked if they understood the charge, Kapesula and Kasenga responded in the affirmative and pleaded not guilty.
“The court has entered a plea of not guilty,” Mr Mutafela said.
He adjourned the case to December 1 this year for commencement of trial.
