‘2 million bank accounts risk being frozen’

OVER two million bank and non-bank accounts risk being frozen after the deadline for registration of the taxpayer identification Number (TPIN) tomorrow.Currently, there are about three million bank and non-bank accounts being housed by commercial banks and other financial service providers.
A check by the Daily Mail at Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) head office yesterday found hundreds of desperate people trying to register for the TPIN.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
