2 Chinese arrested

POLICE in Kitwe have arrested two Chinese nationals and a Zambian for allegedly vandalising railway infrastructure in Chambishi on the Copperbelt.
Officers from the Kitwe district criminal investigations office conducted an operation in Chambishi on scrap metal dealers and arrested three people.
Police officers picked up Jacob Chikwenda, 26, Zheng Chang, 30, and Li Zhen, 29, when they raided Chisteel Zambia Limited, one of the smelters in Chambishi.
At the premises, police recovered 82 rail slippers, 46 solv plates, 43 fish plates, eight scotch screws, 28 short rails, eight long rails and 30 x 5metres irrigation steel pipes http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
