LUSAKA Dynamos striker Chris Mugalu and Zanaco midfielder Augustine Mulenga have been nominated for the 2017 MTN/Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) footballer-of-the-year award.
The duo will compete with Zanaco goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata.

Mugalu is already assured of the top scorer’s award and will walk away with K20,000 at Friday’s ceremony set for Moba Hotel in Kitwe.

Dynamos finished fifth on the Super Division log with 63 points, 11 behind champions Zesco United.
Mugalu scored 21 times, three more than Zesco forward Jesse Were.
Mulenga and Nsabata had an impressive campaign guiding Zanaco to the runners-up position on the Super Division table and to a maiden Barclays Cup crown.
Mulenga was also outstanding for the Chipolopolo in the 2018 Russia World Cup qualifiers, and the Wedson Nyirenda-tutored side finished second with eight points, six behind…
