THE Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) approved 114 projects in October this year with an investment value of over US$1.3 billion.
ZEMA acting corporate affairs manager Alexander Museshyo said in a statement yesterday that the projects were approved in accordance with provisions of the Environmental Management Act number 12 of 2011 and the environmental impact assessment regulations Statutory Instrument Number 28 of 1997.
Mr Museshyo said following the approval of the projects, the total investment value from January to date now stands at US$12.4 billion.
